in a Diverse Society
The EXITO! University course titled, Culture. Learning and Academic Achievement in a Diverse Society, is designed for those students transitioning from the ENLACE high schools and other first year university students. The class emphasizes the development of culturally responsive, culturally reflective learning strategies and skills aimed enhancing students’ academic identities and achievement. Moreover, it prepares students to become critically grounded thinkers, problem solvers, technology proficient learners, and effective practitioners of their learning.
